Svetlana Koroleva, a Russian-born mother of two living in Canada, has found a new source of balance and joy in her life: table tennis.

After taking a break from the sport to focus on parenting and work, Koroleva decided to get back into table tennis when her son turned two. Joining the Ethnic league, doubles tournament, and eventually the House League at CCTTA, she has found a community of like-minded individuals who share her passion for the sport.

Playing every Tuesday has become a dedicated time for herself, allowing her to recharge and focus on something that is entirely her own.

Koroleva encourages more women to join House League, a great place to meet new people and make friends, and hopes to see more tables added for teams.

For Koroleva, table tennis has become a vital part of her family life and an essential tool for maintaining balance in her busy schedule.
