The Commonwealth TT Championships will be held on 27 July to 2 August 2026 in New Delhi, India.
The decision to hold these Championships was made very late and the initial dates conflicted with our Canadian Championships in Winnipeg. However, the organizers have changed the date to the one listed above. This allows Canadian senior players to be able to participate in both the Canadian Senior Championships and the Commonwealth Championships.
FUNDING
- Unfortunately, the Commonwealth Championships are not in TTCAN’s budget and due to government funding cuts, this event will be on a “self-funded” basis.
- On the positive side, the organizers will cover the hospitality (meals and accommodation) for 5 men and 5 women for the period of the championships.
- Selected players must pay their own travel, and possibly 1 or 2 days of accommodation.
