- The Referee reserves the right to split the event in two if more than 18 participants register, in which case the maximum would be 16 participants per event and the choice of event(s) would be given to the participants in the order of registration (first come first served).

If there are two events, the Class A will be 09:00 – 14:00 (door will open at 08:00) and a Class B will be 15:00 – 20:00.

Format
- Tables: 4
- The event(s) will be played as a large round robin or round robin groups followed by progressive elimination playoffs; details depend on the number of entries and their levels.
- Minimum of 7 matches per player
- Masks are optional
- No spectators allowed due to space limitations
- Draw & Seeding Explanation
- Class eligibility and seeding positions will be based on the last available Ontario Ranking List before the tournament.
- Instead of 7 classes based on TTCAN rankings, starting September 1, the OTTA is using 4 classes (A, B, C, D) based on Ontario “All” ranking:
- Class A – Ontario Ranking 1 – 50
- Class B – Ontario Ranking 51 – 150
- Class C – Ontario Ranking 151 – 250
- Class D – Ontario Ranking 251+
- The Referee has the right to use a player’s TTCAN rating for seeding in the case of players without an Ontario Ranking.
- All matches are best of 5
- All participants has to be active members of the Ontario Table Tennis Association or any other Canadian provincial TTA
