The ITTF (ITTF-Americas) has reinstated the Pan American Cup as a qualifier for the World Cup (singles) for men and women.
The 2024 Pan American Cup will be held in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA, on 19-21 January 2024.
There will be two players per gender from each association from the Americas. The top 2 men and top 2 women from the Pan Am Cup will qualify for the ITTF’s World Cup.
The ITTF-Americas has selected Eugene Wang, Mo Zhang and Ivy Liao based on their ITTF Rankings on the date of the selection. Unfortunately, Eugene Wang cannot attend. The ITTF-Americas replaced him by Edward Ly.
All three players will also participate in the WTT Corpus Christi (Texas) prior to the Pan Am Cup.
