Ontario Table Tennis (OTT) is pleased to announce the provincial team that will represent Ontario at the 2025 Canadian Championships. The championships are a premier national event showcasing the top table tennis talent from across the country.
Following a rigorous selection process, which included performance at the 2025 Ontario Championships and consideration of the Ontario Ranking List (ORL), the team has been finalized.
At a recent Board meeting, it was decided that the Ontario team for the 2025 Canadian Championships will be composed of the top two eligible finishers from the 2025 Ontario Championships in the Under 13, Under 15, and Under 19 categories. Additionally, the top two eligible players in each of these respective categories, based on the Ontario Ranking List (ORL) published on April 28, have been selected.
The coaching staff for the team will be decided and announced within the next seven days.
All selected players are required to confirm their participation by May 14, 2025.
Players are also asked to arrange for the payment of their applicable fees. Ontario Table Tennis is pleased to offer support to players from High-Performance (HP) recognized centers who have paid their membership fees for the 2024-25 season. An amount of $360 will be issued to these players, effectively covering the costs associated with coach’s fees, team fees, and the uniform.
