In 2024 and 2025, Deaf table tennis players from Ontario and Quebec participated in Ontario Deaf Sports Association (ODSA) Table Tennis tournaments held at Markham My Table Tennis Club.

Two athletes, Jerome Blanchette, Montreal and Gary Malkowski, Toronto were selected to represent Team Canada at major international events, including the 2024 Pan American Games for the Deaf in Brazil and the 2025 Deaflympics in Tokyo.

Over the past two years, Markham My Table Tennis Club has played a key role in athlete development by providing high-quality training opportunities for Deaf table tennis players.

ODSA and the Ontario Table Tennis Association (OTTA) continue to collaborate on outreach and recruitment efforts to identify and support Deaf and hard of hearing table tennis players across Ontario and Canada. This partnership strengthens pathways to provincial and national tournaments and supports the development of high-performance athletes.
