Recognitions & Gratitude
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Jeff Wong, our Referee, and his team for their expertise in finalizing the draw and overseeing the delivery of this event.
We are also incredibly honored to welcome Eugene Wang, the most successful Canadian player of the last two decades. His participation is a highlight of the tournament, offering a unique opportunity for our young athletes to watch and learn from a true icon of the sport.
Our deepest thanks go to our sponsor, Nova Marketing. Their incredible support has made this event possible by providing free registration for everyone and a generous prize money pool.
Tournament Format
Building the draw was a complex task, as we are hosting players from around the world and across Canada with varying ratings, and boys and girls will be competing together. To ensure a high-quality experience, we are following these formats:
- Open Category: A progressive knockout for the top 16 players. All other participants will play 1 or 2 additional matches.
- U17 Category: A standard knockout (elimination) format. Semi-finalists will play off for 3rd place.
- U11 Category: This category begins at the semi-final stage, with a match to determine 3rd place.
Please review your match times and arrive at the venue early.
Good luck to all—let’s make this a fantastic celebration of table tennis!
