The May Challenge at GTTA saw 18 players competing in a Class 4 event with two round robin groups of 9 followed by progressive eliminations.  We had two new players from the Ottawa area (welcome Shahriar and Manoj) and a returning player from Montreal.  This month, the second set of medals went to the U13 age category.  Next month, it will be U9, if at least 4 players that meet the category participate.
The top performance of the day came from Joshua SU, who managed to defeat both Shahriar and Alec during the round robin phase, to finish first in his group.  He went on to take the U13 gold and the overall silver, losing only to Judy ZHONG, in the finals.
Rounding out the U13 medals were Louis SUN with the silver and Jermey YUAN with the bronze.
Overall, gold went to Judy ZHONG, silver went to Joshua SU and bronze went to Alec WEI.
Congratulations to all participants for their efforts in playing at least 10 matches each.
