This year Scholarship to an active player from Ontario attending University or College has been awarded to Joyce Xu, member of the My Table Tennis Club Markham, currently attending University of Western Ontario.
Joyce’s career highlights:
- 2019 Canadian Junior Championships – JR 18 Girls Singles Gold, JR 18 Team, Doubles, Mixed Doubles Silver
- 2019 Canadian Senior Championships – U21 Singles, Women’s Singles Bronze
- 2019 Ontario Championships – JR 18 Girls Singles, Women’s Singles Gold
- 2019 Pan Am Championships – Women’s Doubles Bronze
- 2018-19 Pan Am Junior Championships – JR 18 Girls Team Silver
Joyce is a current senior and junior Canadian team member for World Championships.
2019 Scholarship was awarded to Robert Cloutier, member of the Ottawa Para Table Tennis Club, attending Carleton University at the time.
