Event Categories & Inclusive Play
This year’s Nova Open will feature three exciting categories, fostering competition across all age groups:
- Open Category: The premier event for seasoned players.
- U17 (Under 17): Showcasing the rising stars of the sport.
- U11 (Under 11): Nurturing the next generation of champions.
In a move to promote unity and high-level play, all categories – Open, U17, and U11 – will feature boys and girls, men and women competing together. This inclusive format promises thrilling matchups and a dynamic competitive environment.
Tournament Stages & Key Dates
The Nova Open is structured into two main stages to ensure a fair and exciting progression:
- Qualifications: August 9-10, 2025
- Finals: August 11-12, 2025
Please note that all international players and members of the Canadian National Team will automatically begin their tournament journey in the Finals stage, bypassing the qualification rounds.
Finals Format
The Finals will be an intense two-day affair:
- Round Robin Groups: August 11, 2025
- Progressive Knockout (KO): August 12, 2025
Prize Money
