In order to meet the need of our growing sport in Ontario for qualified match officials.
Aspiring Club Umpires, the OTTA planned to have 4 umpire clinics province-wide to train more people to become certified umpires. The very first clinic will be held in Greater Toronto Area:
- When: 1:00-4:30 PM, March 9, 2013
- Where: Markham (Venue to be confirmed, depending on number of registrants)
- Who: Anyone who loves table tennis and wants to work for table tennis as an official is welcome
- How: To register, send an e-mail to mark68b@gmail.com before March 6, 2013
The clinic and examination are conducted and proctored by Mark Bu, Director of OTTA in charge of Referees, Umpires, Coaches.
Aspiring Provincial Umpires wishing to take the Provincial Umpire Exam:
Club Umpires who are fully certified can contact Jeff Wong at jwy_wong@rogers.com to take the Provincial Umpire Exam on the same day.
