Club Registration Form

The OTTA recognizes two types of affiliation:

  1. Affiliated club
  2. Affiliated club with full OTTA membership policy (each club member becomes OTTA competitive member by joining the club)
Benefits for Affiliated Clubs
  • TOURNAMENTS
    • OTTA supported but not sanctioned tournamennts can be hosted by affiliated clubs.
    • Tournaments will be listed on the OTTA calendar (ontariotabletennis.com)
  • VOTING RIGHTS Affiliated clubs has voting rights at the OTTA Annual General Meetings (please, see our By-Laws)
  • INSURANCE All individual OTTA members are insured by paying OTTA membership fees.
  • PROGRAMS  In case OTTA receives funds for organizing clinics (officials, coaches, players) or programs, the affiliated club will receive information and can apply for partnership.
  • PURCHASING TABLE TENNIS EQUIPMENT  The club can order ITTF-approved equipment (tables, nets, scoreboards, dividers) for up to $2000 and get a 10% subsidy. Equipment has to be ordered by the official OTTA sponsor.
  • The OTTA WEB PAGE Basic information about club, address, contacts (emails/telephones) will be posted at ontariotabletennis.com

Benefits for Fully Affiliated Clubs
  • TOURNAMENTS
    • The club can apply for any level of the OTTA sanctioned tournament. Three and four stars in partnership with the OTTA.
    • Tournaments conditions are defined on TT Canada’s Web site.
    • Tournaments will be listed on the OTTA calendar (ontariotabletennis.com)
    • Information about tournaments will be sent to all OTTA members when prospectus is approved
  • VOTING RIGHTS  Clubs with full OTTA membership policy have double voting rights at AGM (please, see our By-Laws)
  • OTTA SUPPORT   All clubs will enjoy support based on number of club’s memberships. They can reach up to 67% of membershp fees per each member minus individual insurance fees. Support shall be given only for competitive memberships.  Those fees club shall be spent on:
    • Coaching programs
    • Officials going to clinics and workshops
    • Improving daily training environment for Ontario Team members
    • Organizing sanctioned tournaments.

Funds will be spent the way the club finds it most appropriate.

  • PROGRAMS   In case OTTA receives funds for organizing clinics (officials, coaches, players) or programs, the club will receive full information and can apply for partnership. Clubs with full OTTA membership policy would be considered first and have an advantage when funds are distributed.
  • INSURANCE
    • Clubs with fully affiliated policy that want to add their name to the OTTA insurance policy can send their requests to the OTTA. Additional fees will apply after consulting our insurance broker. Insurance will cover $2,000,000 Commercial General Liability and Directors & Officers Liability of $1,000,000
    • Clubs will have to pay additional insurance
  • PURCHASING TABLE TENNIS EQUIPMENT  Clubs can order ITTF-approved equipment (tables, nets, scoreboards, dividers) for up to $2000 and get a 20% subsidy or up to $5000 with a 10% subsidy. Equipment has to be ordered by official OTTA sponsor. Names of sponsors will be announced not later than May 1st.
