Saturday, November 19th

Morning:

  • Under 9 Boys (born 2013 or after)
  • Under 9 Girls (born 2013 or after)
  • Over 40

Afternoon:

  • Open Men, Open Women

Sunday, November 20th (till about 3:30 PM)

  • Under 11 Boys (born 2011 or after)
  • Under 11 Girls (born 2011 or after)

    Format

    • 1st stage: RR of 3-4 players
    • 2nd stage: Knock out

    Competition Manager and Referee may decide to change format that fits the best number of registered players and tournament schedule.


    • $5 administration fee if you withdraw before the registration deadline
    • Seeding positions will be based on last available Ontario Ranking List before the tournament
    • Referee has right to estimate player’s TTCAN ranking in case of players without position at Ontario Ranking List
    • If less than 3 girls enter the events, all boys and girls will be placed in one category
    • All matches best of 5
    • All participants has to be active members of the Ontario Table Tennis Association or any other Canadian provincial TTA

    Eligibility

    • Canadian citizen and permanent residents only
    • OTTA High Performance members
    • U9 – born in 2013 or after
    • U11- born in 2011 or after
    • O40 – born in 1982 or before
    • All participants will need to sign a Letter of Commitment. Please download the letter, sign it and upload it using this form.

    Hongtao Chen of True North TTC will have an opportunity to repeat Ontario’s success at the 2015 CWG in Kelowna, British Columbia. In 2008, he led the Ontario Team to six gold medals.
    In the past two years, Betty Zareba, OTTA High Performance Coordinator and OTTA Director, has experienced a steep learning curve for HP management tasks. Her impeccable communication skills and commitment ensure that the team will be effectively managed.

    Jessie Xu of Three 10 in Women’s Singles and Kenny Fengjia Zhang of Grace TTC Academy in Under 11 Boys successfully defended their respective titles from the previous year.
