– Singles: $55.00 per participant, plus hst
– Teams: $110.00 per team, plus hst

Prizes:

– Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each division.
– Earn points for Ontario ranking.
– Earn Canadian rating points – 2 Stars.

Sunday, February 4th

  • 3:00PM Teams of two divisions, capacity 12 teams
    (warmup at 2:00PM)

Format

  • Singles
    • Tables: Up to 8 tables will be used.
  • Teams-of-two
    • Tables: Up to 6 tables will be used
    • The team-of-two tournament will consist of two divisions—Division A and Division B.
      Participants will be allocated to these divisions based on their seeding positions, with the top half placed in Division A and the remaining half in Division B
    • Each division will be divided into two groups, each composed of three teams. Group matches will follow a round-robin structure, leading up to the final round
    • In the final round, teams from the same division that finished in the same position in their respective groups will face each other
    • Minimum 6 matches per player
    • The doubles will be used as a tie-break if the score is tied 2-2 after all four singles are played.
      The doubles tie-break is a best-2-of-3.
  • Draw & Seeding Explanation
  • Seeding positions will be based on last available Ontario Ranking List before the tournament.
  • The Referee has the right to use a player’s TTCAN rating for seeding in case of players without an Ontario Ranking
  • All matches best of 5
  • All participants has to be active members of the Ontario Table Tennis Association or any other Canadian provincial TTA
