World known Perimeter Institute (PI) for Theoretical Physics is an independent research centre in foundational theoretical physics located in Waterloo. The PI have targeted March 31st as a fundraising day for Kids Ability.

Proudly founded and supported by local Rotarians since 1957, KidsAbility™ is the recognized leader in Waterloo Region and Guelph-Wellington for empowering children and youth with a wide range of complex special needs to realize their full potential.

Through a talented team of therapists, teachers, support staff and volunteers, 6,318 children and youth, from birth to school exit,  benefited from therapy and support services at our sites in Cambridge, Fergus, Guelph, Kitchener and Waterloo last year.

The TopSpin of Kitchener and Waterloo and the OTTA are in a role of supporting event by providing equipment and tournament logistics. The OTTA will also donate 4 Butterfly rackets to York Region District School Board through Bob Archibald, teacher for the students with special needs.

President of the OTTA, Attila Mosonyi: “Perfect place and perfect cause! It is a pleasure to work with Perimeter Institute. Employees of PI are enjoying playing and I believe that next year we will be back.”
